So I'm driving along around Hooksett-ish on a back road and...

...What the hell?

Saw a 1970 Superbird just chillin' in some random driveway on the side of the road, trunklid open, NO ONE around to be seen. There was a Mini in the driveway next to it. We almost crashed looking at it and went back to snag a pic, but I don't have the pic, my friend's GF does.

I dunno, just thought I'd share...I don't remember the last time I'd seen one in person and even if it were a fake it's worth about 75-100k methinks.

This is the actual car, found it on Flickr. I think it's safe to say there aren't more than one Hemi Orange 1970 Superbirds w/a black vinyl roof and Firestone Firehawks within 50 miles of Manchester, and we were like one town away.

My dad lives in Hooksett. But it's not his. I don't think that helps much...

I'd say that is a hell of a rare car even if it is or not a hemi power bird. Must admit, for all the NASCAR homologated cars like that Monte Aero SS or 2+2 GP, these were really special cars.
