This. Smile

Oh yeah. Bring it! jocolor flower

It's ugly. It's rusty. Has a HUGE dent in the 1/4. It has holes in the top. But it's a 94, so it has the bigger engine and brakes. Runs good, only 155K miles on it... I can't WAIT to autocross it!

I figure I'll pull the dent, tiger hair the rust holes, and paint it. Put a cheap $150 eBay top on it. And then drive the damn wheels off it, and make a good profit selling it in the fall... Wink

Pics?

But... it's got snow tires on it. Doh! So I need to buy tires anyways! LOL!

Flame away, ladies. Razz

I want to buy it when you sell it. That way if my car breaks down, I can pull that one out of my trunk and drive it home. Razz

Ok. I have it out of my system. Sorry. Wink

Nice find. It is what you were looking for, except the dent, rust and custom sunroof. Arrow

For mods? I think I'm changing direction. No LSx swap for now. Want to keep good mileage. I'm actually thinking maybe just a header and exhaust and an intake. Some suspension work. And some tires. Maybe some nice 15x8's and some big old flares. Cowl hood. Lip spoiler... Oh yeah... Wink

Turbo's not out of the question. But I am going to wait a bit and see how it shakes out. There are some FAST Miatas at the autocrosses with no power adder... And they are right up there for FTD!

No powder blue. Creamsicle Orange, maybe... Wink

Did it come with the iced tea already in the console, and if so, were there two lemons in it?

I'd leave the dent because it looks hilarious, and try to make something funny of it. How does that even happen!?
In fact I'd leave the "patina" the way it is! lol

It takes more out of you to autocross a 4500lb wagon,.
people are more impressed when you place 11th out of a 33 car field of corvettes,.
I mean even girls can autocross a miata, i,m just saying,.

Hey, Girl's autocross Vette's where I run, too. Wink

And I've been having a ball Autocrossing the V.

And once the Marshmallow is done, I will autocross the wheels off that, too. Wink

And Steve, I'm sorry, but that white one is Gay. Razz

And I thought the same thing with her walking it around the yard! But I was going to say I wanted to get her one of those battery powered ones to play with so she could have something with a little more power... Very Happy

I'm thinking cowl hood, and bolt on flares with wide-assed 15" tires. Maybe. We'll see. I may just leave it how it is, like Matt suggested. Maybe I'll just buy a bandaid sticker for the dent. Wink

Oh, and Mark... I told her about it when I got home with it. lol. Easier to ask for forgiveness, and all that... cheers

It'd be like "What's a third the cost of a set of T84's..." Wink

And, this is the direction I'm going. This thing is pretty much what I intend to do, but without shiny paint. Probably.

I'm gonna need a cool hood on the wagon too, and also a 80s firebird. Wait, no, not a firebird - a cadillac, cept not a regular one, I want a racing one. Oh and also, I want the wagon to be a racing wagon too. Oh, and also, since the truck, the wagon, and the caddy will all probably get bad gas mileage, I should probably have a convertable too, like a Miata so that I can race something that's good on gas instead of racing things that are bad on gas, because that's what makes the most sense if you think about it!

Leader: Oh, so you'll have a built up off road truck, a racing wagon, a racing sedan, and a racing convertable, and be on the hunt for an S10. That's interesting. Please, share with us. Which of these race cars will your wife drive?

Bill: Meh, I'll pick her up a 4 banger to get around in. Anyway, how long till we talk about K5 blazers? and camaros? and broncos? and why are you making me wear this white jacket - and why are the sleeves so long? and 70's olds 442s? and 60s caddy sedans too? Oh look, a chicken. Oh yea, and early 80s big pontiacs? and 79 trans ams? and..... and ....... and.... DON'T TAZE ME BRO!

I lol'd so hard that I had tears in my eyes!

Miatas can definitely be fun. Nice score! Our Lemons race car actually has the 1.8BP engine from the Miata.

FWIW, one of the guys on my team runs a Miata parts store for a living and races them in SCCA. He's got like 90 Miatas in a warehouse in Wisconsin. If you need any parts (stock or racing), he probably has them. I can get you his info if you'd like.

That's awesome, Bill! I may take you up on that! Wink

I am looking for some 15x8" 4x100 0-25mm offset wheels, bolt on flares, nascar style spoiler, coilovers, bigger sway bars, header, catback. Used is preferred on all. Smile

Thanks!
