| Bought this puppy in February from a girl in Attleboro. It still has a mass registration sticker good till august, but I never managed to get it past inspection here in Rhode Island: apparently they are sticklers for rust here (I recently moved down from mass)--they told me there was too much rust on the floor pan. To be honest, I don't know enough to tell you how bad it is... might be an easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing. For me it turned out to be more hastle than it was worth, which is why I tracked down you car-lover folks, in hopes that someone would give this baby a little love.
Positives: The engine is a beast that won't quit...definitely moves when you hit the gas. Most of the gadgets still work, and the interior is in very decent shape, including the sweet rumble seat in the back. The paint's pretty close to perfect, although a small patch of the "wood" is missing on the passenger side.
Negatives: Besides the rust on the underside and along the tailgate door, the inspectors also mentioned an exhaust leak, and although the breaks seem to be very responsive, the ABS light is on. I've also noticed a bit of an oil leak.
I foolishly paid $1650 for this beauty in February, but would be happy to get $1200 for it now that I know better. Feel free to give me a call if I can answer any more questions, or if you want to come take a look.
