Anyways, I thought my vin number looked very low, so tonight I checked the build date. I almost fell over. This is the oldest LT1 car I have owned yet, and may be one of the first D-bodys built. Last 6 of the vin is 700347, and the build date is 8/93.
A couple years ago I had an impala that had a build date of 3/94 (Impala production started in the last week of Febuary of 94). And after some research, I found it to be #392 of Impala production

I already checked on the the springs. I almost hate to tell you this but it looks like you got D front springs and B sedan rear springs.

What do you mean? It is on the vehicle weight tag on the drivers door. Will have a 4 digit number. Mine is 08/93
