| We went out in Foster/Gloster to look at a 68 396 Nova that we did not get. What we did see in the next town was a 68 Impala wagon from Nickey's Chevrolet. If you don't know what a Nickey's car is they were tuners like Baldwin Motion,Dana Chevrolet and Yenko . This car has been in this barn from 1973. The drive line is 1968 427 425 HP used in Corvette and COPO cars. It is backed with a rockcrusher 4 speed and a 12 bolt with looks like 3.73 Car is teal blue with teal gut buckets and a console. This is still sporting the org drive line! We were shocked when we seen the 427 cross flags on the front fenders and the Nickey's under that !! The last time a seen a real Nickey's car was at Mecum and it was a 69 Chevelle with this same drive line and that sold for 300,000 + This car is like it was in 1968 with only 11,284 miles .... Just crazy The best part was we were not looking for this car and it found us and the price was so low if I posted it it would make you sick . I would post photos but I still cant get my pic on my SS Impala on this sight as hard as i have tryed .Think we are just going to give it a nice cleaning and off to Ruso and Steel and see what it brings on the block 95 SS Impala 67 SS Chevelle 427 Bmw M3 drop top Bmw 850 5 speed 41 Willys coupe Steel car no Fing Kit | |

Hurry up man. Poor Mike is going to explode. Hell I may explode. I do have to say, that I miss the days when you could buy a car the way you wanted it, rather than the way the factory decided you wanted it. In the summer of 87, I purchased my first new car. It was a 87 Mustang notchback. I ordered it from Rodman Ford in Foxborough, Ma. I told the salesman, I wanted a tan ext, tan int, 5.0/5-speed with no options except tilt wheel, and cruise control, and 3.23 rear with limited slip. It showed up 2 months later with no power options, no a/c, and no radio. It was at the time, the ultimate sleeper. I removed the 5.0 badges, so only the wheels, and tail pipes gave it way from the 4cyl version |
