PostSubject: So there I was.....   Mon Mar 12, 2012 1:44 pm

Had a GREAT time at the Badass meet yesterday! After lunch I decided it was a good idea to drive up to Scarborough Maine and check out Cabela's (since I was already at least half way there from my house).

I was driving up I95 in my B4U, nice day, light traffic, LT1 with highway gears........and I did'nt happen to notice a Light Blue CV on an access road parked perdendicular to the highway, till I was REAL close to him. I looked down at the digital speedo and saw 87 MPH Shocked (after jamming the brakes and startling everybody in the car).

He was pointing to me as I drove past, and pulled out onto the highway quick. At this point I was thinking........dammit been 4 years since I had a ticket Rolling Eyes . Pulled over, and was suprised to talk to a Maine State Trooper that was very forgiving. Long story short, no ticket, and he told me "...in Maine you are supposed to be wearing a seat-belt".

On my way to go but some lottery-tickets before all my luck is gone. cheers

I couldn't believe the number of Staties on 95 leaving New Hampshire this morning. I saw four over the course of about two miles, and three of them were pulling people over.

On my way back to Mass I saw someone pulled over by a Mass trooper then 10 minutes later that same cop blew past me doing at least 100 mph (I was doing 80 and he screamed by me). Then a few min after that I passed him again pulling someone else over. Guess he didn't think 80 was pull overable. I'm fine with that

all I can say is thats one benefit of getting older. Shocked A while ago I was "testing" a car at midnight on a straightaway. ONE car coming the other way.. I really didn't see him cause I was flying an looking at a scanner and guages along with watchin where I was goin. 2 min later I see blue lights affraid Cop was pissed !!! "you know how fast you were goin?" No but it was prob over a 100. Yelled at me for a few min then told me to go "testing" on the highway the next time. 1 good thing for age.. I guess we are suppose to be smarter Twisted Evil
