My name is Sean and a new member to this site. I have a 1987 Caprice Classic Brougham and figured I should be with the b bodies of New England.

Welcome to the forum! Where do you live? There's a lot of us in MA. Got pics to post? Give us a little more on the '87. Who, what, where, all that stuff.

Welcome aboard fellow box owner! Arrow

Give us some more about yourself! Search for the how to post pics thread to figure it out, in a few days you should be able to post, I think there is a restriction for three days or something. Looking forward to pics though!

I have a rebuilt 350 in the caprice. Full stainless steel exhaust with headers as well. In the future I would like to swap a 454 in the chevy but for now the 350 is just fine. I have been restoring the car for about a year now and have installed hotchkis trailing arms, air shocks in the rear, new shocks in the front, 2.5 inch lift, and many other things. Looking to get the headliner done this week. I'm located out of southeastern, MA and East Providence, RI. New Member 12301111[img][/img]

I appreciate it. Trying to keep it original as possible but I do like the bigger rims but once I get a posi I'll have to throw on some fatties to burn them up.

Hey, I don't want to be "that guy" but I don't know that a lifted/donk is really going to fit within the club here. It's a good group of guys, and you're welcome to hang, but you better have some thick skin... Wink

Way to kill a clean car with a lift kit!

But that thing would be totally bitchin' draggin' its nuts on some Cragars... Just sayin' Razz

I like the stance..... paint is clean..... but the rims.... Surprised ........ the style is over played and not for the box caprice.I've seen several other cars done really nice but they dont look good because of the same rims you have.

...... but to each they own.

...... And ignore the old timers tongue

... there are a few here who like classy donks ...... afro ....

overall this group is a great mix of cruisers, low riders, speed demons, clean stock cars, daily drivers and shit boxes lol!

While I really am not a donk fan at all, the car looks clean. So thank you for preserving it! Arrow

Thats no problem, I know you guys are all about the performance here . I still have the stock tires with some thick tread so I could post a picture of them to brighten the mood hahaha.

While we rag on "donks" and what have you, that car looks clean and I don't mind it at all...the wheels fill the wheelwells, and the body is done up right without Skittles logos and all that. It could be put back to stock if need be someday, and it looks good the way it is now. Nice job!

The ones that irk me are the red with white top 71 Impala big block convertibles with 21K original miles that clowns buy and proceed to do irreversible modifications to, crap bodywork, full digital instrumentation, fiberglass dashboards with a big TV screen in the middle, 4 speakers per door plus kick panel speakers, ostrich seat covering, then have to sell it a year later via craigslist in an ad because they spent too much money building the car, craigslist ad uses terminology including but not limited to "fuh", "dat", "wat"...etc....hahaha

I'm not a fan of the "donks" either but the important thing is to keep a good B body alive!
that being said, welcome! nice looking ride.
