PostSubject: So I found out that the caddy's alarm works today......   Thu Feb 16, 2012 3:09 pm

Decided today was the day to start shaving the trunk lid, so I got the drill and and punch and started to remove the emblems.
Got them removed as usual... Then I drilled out the 2 bottom rivets that hold the bracket that retains the lock cylinder. Again no issues.
Right as I pull the lock cylinder forward the alarm starts blaring and I damn near shit my pants!!!!

Apparently there's a feature that has a sensor to determine that the lock cylinder is seated all the way.
WTF!! seriously that is an awesome feature! Do Buicks have this? Or is this strictly luxury vehicle option?
