Short for Magna Charger. Roots style blower, also called a "Radix". The number associated with it refers to the size, i.e. 90, 112 etc. I think the one on the V is a intercooled 112. That Effer screams!! Thanks Al - toomanytoyz wrote:
And here's a link to how it sounds. I think the exhaust exceeds capabilities of my camera to capture. lol
WOW....what a note. Hows it hold the road when your foots in it? Tire size? That car DEFINITELY hides its teeth well. So your running out of vehicles that need work....good move | |

| Steve, it is surprisingly surefooted. The 245/45/18's hold the road quite well. It handles great and has a lot of grip. And when the rears are spinning, it's very composed and controllable, and drifts with ease. Very predictable. Makes me look like a hero, but it's all the car. And the brakes... OMG the brakes! Just ask Al. | |

| The traction control button is right on the wheel? Great place for it. I love that I have to agree to the "competitive driving mode" before it'll turn off though. Lol. And yeah, i agree. The ebrake should be on the console, not on the floor. I have found the G meter. But i can't see it because there's a stupid aftermarket boost gauge in the way. Gauge placement fail! | |

| I'm guessing the pygmies at GM just didn't feel like removing the old switch for the regular cts's. They just added one to the wheel on the V. I tried the one in the glovebox and it works just like the one on the wheel. Weird. This car is never going to get old. | |

| So I had the pleasure today......V-gasm. I told Crovo no but he proceeded to jump in the passenger seat anyway. The clutch & tranny were percise but forgiving. Once engaged the torque, acceleration, SC whine hit me like a taser. OMG I went into sensory overload. The fluids in my brain were driven to the back of my head. It was like the first time I killed a grizzly....adreline rush X1000. (Ya...I made the grizzly part up) I went thru 3 gears before I was forced into submission & let the car engine brake so I could regain my composure. From what I heard, local residents assumed it was just an F-15 Eagle fly by. Had enough road to do that more then once, may have even hit 4th, but never came close to red line OR the remaining 2 gears. Now the redline detail is hearsay as I never even LOOKED at the gauges. I didnt have the where with all to glance down (see fluids in the back of my head above^^) Now in my defence, I didnt know the road at all either but SO WHAT. I also havent had a motor like that in....OK never...so I was caught of guard by the rush. This car is pure sex. The rest of the details are clouded as...ya.... I was basking in the after glow of...V-gasm. Landed it without incident & promptly regained control. Did I say OMG? ya...OMG? Thanks Crovo. Now I gotta go persue that feeling again. Wonder how much THATS gonna cost me. | |

Once in the car you drove it, but not aggressively , but Crovo said "Go ahead man... Drive it like an asshole... I do". So you do, and after a nice romp in the Wolf, you stop. Get out. And then start making Bevis and Butthead noises. After five minutes or so of that, you look at Crovo and say. I gotsta get me one of these! Steve drove 500hp like an asshole! |
