| No additional forced induction. No new cam/heads package. No exhaust work will be done. This. Thing. Is. AWESOME. Made it the 350 miles home, no problems. Thanks for the ride, Al! | |

| I think Bill is right. He had to mod b-bodys to get to the performance level of the "V". In time he will mod it, but I bet not as much as many might think. I would go ahead and start looking for a rear end now. Your going to need it. Get the service records from GM to see what has been done to it. Congrats on the car Bill. You deserve it. I think you need to take a pic of all four vehicles together. The wagon, part 2, da "V", and the Malibu. |

DONE ! ........... Bill did his homework..... As for up grades...... not needed...... yeah if he wants to make everybody look stupid sure... but for his daily driver that car has enough balls to perform the way he wants in everyday driving. If you haven't driven a CTS-V you wouldn't understand. The car is built to move , remain comfortable and in control..... why f*** with it. Tints, new wheels, borla exhaust ..... and a back up set of rubbers ......again..... you suck!........

| Here's one of the two "Maggies" she came with... Can you guess the other? There is a LOT of money in the car. I took advantage of someone else modding it and taking the money hit this time. Instead of it being the other way around... ;-) I has dyno sheets. ;-) | |

| Yup, Magnaflow exhaust, too. Thanks for the comments, guys! Ok, I'll spill the beans. It's an 04 CTS-V with 53K miles. Found it on LS1tech and came to an agreement with the owner and went down with Al to get it yesterday. It was a blast of a trip with no breakdowns and no run-ins with the law. And both the factory Nav in the V and the Magellan my wife had in the 'bu both sucked hard and got us lost and turned around more times than you can imagine! But I was in the V, so I didn't care too much! Al was getting mad at me everytime we had to pull away from a light or pull onto a highway! Hahaha. "I feel like I'm tied to a tree!" Anyways. I know you want to know, so I'll start with the power numbers. It's on the stock Magnacharger pulley making about 5lbs of boost, with a blower cam and some headwork on the LS6 and it put down 498HP/480TQ to the wheels. I'm going to round up. 500 FREAKING HORSE TO THE WHEELS!!!!!! It sounds so mean, it's not even funny! Between the blower whine and the Magnaflow exhaust, it's like the world is coming to an end every time you stuff your foot into the carpet! And that said, having driven it, it has more in it. It is PIG rich, and the tune just sucks. I'm going to get it retuned by someone I know will get it right! And yes, it has the most recent GM updated diff in it, all the anti-wheelhop stuff you can throw at it, and Kook's long tubes and cats (right ), and the Magnaflow exhaust. Suspension and interior are stock, aside from Autometer Cobalt Boost/Vacuum & Wideband and 35% tint all around. The gauges need to be moved off the top of the column though. Need to see what I can find for options... What do I want to do? Nothing. It's done. Built how I would do it. Money is spent (by somebody else!) and I'm good with that!!! I do need to put two tires on the front, get a retune, and have it lined up though. Aside from that, I am just going to drive the snot out of it. Yes, I know. Pics or it didn't happen... I ran out and washed it this afternoon. Looked like someone undercoated the fenders since I bought it? I am so stupidly excited, it's not even funny. Oh, and the poor Marshmallow was already evicted. But at least I got her a nice new blanket today! Made my garage look bigger, too! | |

Short for Magna Charger. Roots style blower, also called a "Radix". The number associated with it refers to the size, i.e. 90, 112 etc. I think the one on the V is a intercooled 112. That Effer screams!!

Only 5psi or so. 6 in the cold. Stock pulley. So yeah, if I get tired of the power, more is just a pulley swap away... And here's a link to how it sounds. I think the exhaust exceeds capabilities of my camera to capture. lol https://s738.photobucket.com/albums/xx30/toomanytoyz2/?action=view¤t=MVI_5093.mp4 I need to get some "drive by's".... EDIT: I added a direct link. Apparently the IMG code didn't take... Sorry! Copied it direct from Photobucket!
