| Please don't do the chrome tape. It would have looked better without painting over it. Now the whitewalls look out of place. We'll have to go to the tire shop one night and flip them over. | |

| I regret having the body shop paint over the chrome bumper trim on my black 9C1. It looks soo good with non black wheels. Otherwise, it just looks like another impala... | |

| You can get that back bumper trim I'm pretty sure from some websites, new GM parts. I KNOW I just saw it for sale someplace. Ted the car looks a million times better, keep up the good work. That grille looks great too...I'd like to see a close up shot but I can tell it's pretty damn nice for what you paid with free shipping to boot, lol. I should get one for my white car just to have at that cost. I've got a chrome one that I need to finish redoing the mounts on already (they were broken, fixed with Quickplastik (?) and have to drill holes), plus the black and white original one that I painted. The rest of the paint looks good, but make sure to do even thin coats from a further away distance or it will come out too blotchy. Can't really sand the satin black so it's gotta be done careful! I think it still looks nice w/those whitewalls. Do you take those GTS covers off at night? | |

| thank matt. yeah covers come off at night. still got ome body work to do but hey it one color now and a lil bit happier lol. the grille i sweet. even the area that are supposed to be black are. paint still needs a few more coats as well. tommorows gonna be a biatch tho. right afta I finished painting got it buttoned up, left the shop and on the highway the rear wheel cylinder went. fun. Oh well guess it was time for new drums, and hardware. | |

..... if you go with these tires, you have to turn them into wide whites. There is a thread somewhere Tim posted showing how to make them wider. Is the whole car black? ...... | |
