| I'm not sure I should say anything to you and neither would a seller! I wouldn't want any buyer to blatantly tell me they will kill me! I'd try the for sale section I have a feeling you will find one. | |

depends on what kind of buyer you are....... ....... its a new england car it's whole life.......so yes there is rust, no rot. solid frame. will pass inspection. ...... only area of concern is a small patch on roof by drivers side A pillar. fill, sand and paint. sat afternoon fix. If I wasn't putting all my effort n $ into my 91 FWB I would do the work , but Im not interested in putting more $$$ into a car I no longer want.(kinda). ......... This car looks really good from far and up close.. I detail cars as a passion. This caddy has better wax protection on it than any other lac in NE! wash and go. ............. Like Ironfist said you want a clean flawless FWB have deep pockets and look down south ...... ( unless you got a horse shoe up ass like our fearless leader )

| I'll chime in here with an opinion Dollar for dollar that car HAS to be the best buy out there right now. It's sittin beautifully, looks fantastic & goes like it should. If I was looking for a car this'd be it Once again, the car is what it is.... What you want, I dont know. If your local, you should go check it out (bring your $) you'll like it | |

The work that has been done to it is worth the price. It would have been in my driveway if I did not need a pickup. |

| Yea its tough goings for me in your directiin aswell ...as I'm interested however seeing previous pics I def wish the hood was original paint as I'm not really feeling paying 3-500 for a repainted hood to match the car | |

| Dude how serious could you honestly be about getting a fleet wood saying you wouldn't want to buy his for 1k, and spend up to 2-500 for paint. Try to find a modded fleet wood for the 1500 you'd be into it for. Shit I have 3 fleet woods in the family, you want a modded clean black one? 5k. Super clean stock rust free one? 4k. How about a decently clean, new england car, mostly stock but not near mint? Probably 1,800.00.... | |

And you'd be ripping him off. For the work that he and Crovo put into that car his asking price is WAY more than fair. Look at it this way, you can buy a cheap Fleetwood with great paint but you have to do a bunch of motor work. The fact that this car is as cheap as it is, for the shape that its in and the only thing you'd have to do is paint the hood if you wanted you're getting a steal. Keep looking across New England, you wont find a FW in as good as shape as this one for the money. And you're trying to jew him down because you don't like the hood paint? Wow...

You're doing a good job of not making yourself welcome, it has nothing to do with us. This is a close knit group of guys, you come in here looking for a car, you get a hit on a very nice one with all the preventative maint. done to it for a ridiculously fair price, well below what you would have found any other one in good condition for (or have you even bothered looking?) and then you throw a low-ball offer on the table in a public forum without ever looking at the car...and WE are the assholes? If you check out the classifieds, you will see is for sale for $1500 and he is offering it to you and those on here for $1000, so he is already down $500 from what he wants to get for it. I'm betting since he runs a wrecker that he has a couple contacts that might be able to get that hood painted pretty cheap...why not drop him a PM and say that you are interested but the hood is not your cup of tea. I bet he could help you get it squared away since I'm pretty sure his classified ad said that... You should just leave now. You're only on you're 7th post you have already called everyone assholes when all they did was inform you about a car for sale and that it was well worth the money asked and then some. Go home, you're not wanted here

| well dam..... First off..... Im pretty sure we are all assholes here ..... just most are man enough to not take sh*t personal. ...... Why not start over with your search..... what do you want to spend? what do want in the car? You want to throw dubs and go to the show or you want a daily driver? Do you care about what's been done or what it needs? ....... And if your gonna pay $200 to paint the hood. why not by a clean one with junk motor and try to put the $200 in it that way? .... Any thing less then a $1000 is voluntary rape. IM good | |

| I had a 93 with a carriage roof and chrome impala rims but the motor was to dam slow and the roof kinda sucked to clean ...so something clean reliable that I can keep classy with a mean streak is what I'm after. ,,,,,plus I have kids so I need reliable transport | |

| Whats the budget your working with?
This is more like an old skool car club gang (without the violence) than a forum for some of us regular hardcore members/posters. It's just good looking out.
Also the red caddy has had more than one owner in the club. It's kinda been built by a few ppl. So it's also a sentimental thing.

| If I didn't have the wagon with the air bags right now, I'd have bought this red one as a daily a month ago. I don't have room for 3 cars. There's one in east CT craigslist for 1500 needs fuel pump. White with blue interior.
