Tomorrow I am picking up a set of polished aluminum wheels. From the pics they look kind of dull.

Any tips for bringing them back to life?

I'm going to try some never dull and some aluminum polish. Maybe grab a powerball if I'm not feeling cheap.

One guy I met while cleaning a dump truck was using some sort of a jewelers polish with a buffing wheel and HOLY SCHNIKIES! Made those wheel pop! Really sorry that i don't remember the name!

I use a different polish on pretty much any metal its called Britemax twins and it works great!

Euro link but thats the stuff! http://www.thepolishingbooth.com/engine-and-exterior/britemax-metal-polish-twins.html

Good luck! Arrow

The powerball is good for getting into nooks in the wheels, but might not be up to the task...depending on how bad they are. I've heard good things about this:

It all depends on how much time you have to polish them, it can take a while depending on how dull they are and how convoluted the design of the wheel is, etc. I've seen some people wet sand them with fine grit lightly before polishing or use fine steel wool with compound...
