| Must have been a Broughm option Anyways, here's the new addition. I actually drove this one and hold the title! got it for a lot less than the guy had it on ebay for. The trans is done, no 3rd or 4th. I was able to drive it to my friend's house. Overall its in very good shape. Body is straight, no dents. Interior is in amazing shape. The only imperfections (besides the bad trans) is the belt trim is spray painted silver for some reason as well as the trim on the rear bumper . The underbody is in excellent shape, no rust to speak of. It came with a full spare with a newer tire on it, 4 extra centers, an alpine head unit and a magazine-less cd changer. Even with the bad tranny this thing drove great. Chris' caddy looks great, but I was dead set on a black on black FWB, and the sun roof was a bonus Now I have to decide weather to part out the other black caddy or try to get my money back. I swear I'm done buying these for a while, I really have my hands full! I only grabbed a few pics of the car, did a lot of running around this weekend. The car is in NJ at my friend's, now I just need to get it back here. I don't think the engine will appreciate it if I drive it 100 miles at 3500RPM in 2nd gear the whole way | |

| Nice find!
I bought a parts wagOn once with only 1st & 2nd gear, nothing after that. BUT, When I got it up to 65/70 on the highway I threw it into OD and caught overdrive. Long shot, but it might be worth a shot!

Nice cah! I was under the assumption that deal on the other one fell through b/c of the title?

| I'll have to try that. I thought I was shifting it into OD on the highway, turns out the shift indicator was off and I was putting it in 3rd, or neutral2 The other deal kind of sort of fell through. He was supposedly working on getting the title resolved, but I doubt that will ever happen. I am going to try to get my money back, if that fails I'll part the thing. I didn't really want to because no one is gonna want a 228k mile drivetrain. | |

| I'll trade u a slightly used caprice wagon for the $600 car. I got $150 into the roll pan, has a nice tbi 350 and 700r4 It just needs coils I'll throw in the MINT Adriatic roadie dash and door panels, and the bonneville seats too, should have NO PROBLEM making $600 on it. I made over $1,300 parting the last one. I'm more interested in parking the titleless one in the woods and using for parts. And a 228k motor would make a nice stroker project for me. Think about it......... And let me know. | |

| V8 caddy? Must be the northstar. The front wheel drive will be great in the snow!
Score! | |

So when's the DGGM roadie getting gutted? Need a hand? Spring. Lynol sold his Caprice and is using that thing for the winter. He couldn't stand not having a wagon. - toomanytoyz wrote:

Score! I had to drive this thing in the snow a bit to get it to where it is and and want to know why B-bodies didn't have traction control. I was surprised how well it did.

| I hate the traction control, it doesn't let you drift to take turns in snow storms. I rely heavily on the ability to be able to swing the ass end around after stomping the brakes and the gassing it, the caddy pushes your foot off the gas at the worst times! I slid into and hit an island the other day during the storm because of that exact reason. And why do they put the disable button all the way in the glove box????? Needless to say my big black beauty is in the tent for the remainder of the winter, cant take a chance like that again!!!!! | |

| Yeah when te traction control kicks in the blue light comes on on the dash, you CANNOT do a burnout with it engaged. You have to manually turn it off in the glove box. I'm gonna hook mine up to a monetary switch on a custom made floor console. | |

Good idea. My riviera is the same way, but its button is on the dash. My friend's park ave has it on the end of the shifter stalk. I guess old people are scared of buttons so they hid it

| What, the PO couldn't get that sweet steering wheel cover on straight? Looks like a sweet ride! Too bad your yard wasn't big enough so you could take ONE more step back and fit the whole car in the pics! | |
