| It has been discussed many times. Relocating the battery to the rear, and moving the pcm up against the wheel well will help get the tubing to the intercooler and back. Some shorty headers turned upside down might work to create a turbo inlet. Down pipe direction on either side can be interesting. Thats all I got, I have only pondered it, never done it. |

| That link was helpful. Looks like this project is going to get expensive.

| THe only problem i see with that setup is the tubes run under the radiator support and my car sits little lower then that one. I thinks they would be to close to the ground.

With a wagon there could always be the option of running the turbo piping under the body and into the spot where the third row seat folds into. That's how I would try it. Measure it up a few times from a few different ways. - toomanytoyz wrote:

-I hope - Something like that...
Had I not bought that phucking piece of chit subaru, the marshmallow'd have a big honking single turbo and all forged internals right now... That damn thing still being a complicated B*%# to you? My friend always says about his Merkur "my car is like my girlfriend, Loud and temperamental!" Sounds like the Subie lives up to that statement too! Turbos are awesome when they are right though! You'll get it sorted out. | |

| Well the flying saucer is getting a rear mount turbo where the spare tire used to go, if I like the set up and it's half as good as they say it is I'll Consider a low boost one for the Buick, Remote mounts don't usually need intercoolers as the charge inlet pipe running up the car acts as an intercooler. I've been browsing some LS1 and f body forums and that setup is proving to be popular, and with a V8 I don't think turbo lag is nearly as much of an issue if you size them right. But I like Billy idea with a shorty turned upside down, it it would clear the hood okay | |

| Are u guys saying to mount the turbos inside the car in the rear? Would that work? I talked to the guy at lt1 boost and he said he could make me manifolds for 750. I got the clearance issue figured out for the turbos just haven't figured how to get intercooler tubes around core support | |

Excuse the crude picture. This is why I suggested relocating the battery and pcm. Then you can run the piping to the outside, beyond the frame rails, and come to the intercooler under the frame, or by the bumper shocks, rather than trying to go over, under or around the radiator. |
