Does anyone have an idea the size of the brake line from the master cylinder to the rear axle or a 80 cadillac deville? I have looked on every forum, and google. It is either 3/16, or 1/4"

rear axle on my 87 caprice was 1/4" i cant say for sure but in my experience everything going to the rear of anything is 1/4".
I would go with that personally. if i can dig up anything on aftermarket service info software ill let you know

Thank you Matt. That confirms what I found after I found a pair of measuring calipers this afternoon. You are correct.
