| I have no idea how to get the stock radio out. Most people's write ups start with 'remove the plastic trim panel' um... and that's where I'm stumped would like to do that this weekend if possible. Thanks in advance. | |

Yup. Takes like 30 seconds to take the whole dash face off. And mine doesn't rattle. Neither did my other ones. Never broke a clip, either. (Doors are a different story, however!) At least we can check the oil in these cars without having to put the front end in the "service position"!!!! How long does it take you to change a radio in an Audi?

How long does it take you to change a radio in an Audi? well, with my old one I did the radio in about 15 minutes (single DIN) and an oil change was normal. 5-10 minutes tops. There was no 'service position' on the old Audis. though the new ones can eat a d*** for DIY Bill, could you snap a picture of your setup? I wanted to see if I need to trim up my the plastics at all to fit what I've got. my 93 Grand Am rattled like a maraca... I need to fix the door clips though.

| I had this pic handy... No trimming on the dash face, IIRC. | |

this is definitely a 1995... I'm looking at the title... Because I painted the center dash trim around the radio and climate controls satin black to try to get the install to "blend" better...
