electric fan question Empty
PostSubject: electric fan question   electric fan question EmptySun Aug 21, 2011 11:07 pm

Hey does anybody have a secret decoder ring for the two-letter codes on the electric fans? I just yanked all the mech fan stuff off the wagon today and wired my electric one to a switch on the dash so I can turn it on when I want instead of waiting for it to almost overheat. I have another fan I will put in someday soon. The other fan I got from a junkyard and don't remember which one came out of my car and which was from the junkyard. I have a DF and a DD. I grabbed the DD first so that's the one I put in (put in a new all aluminum radiator which is what started all this).
I know there are 100W, 150W, and 240W fans, but which is which? Thanks!
