 hard start

PostSubject: hard start   Thu Aug 04, 2011 6:20 am

ok here is a very weird problem i been having. ok so about 2 weeks ago the wipers started not coming on so i thought nothing of it and the next morning the car had a hard start but started. ok now here the thing the wipers will work and when they do the car starts fine and when they wont come on it has trouble. anyone else ever experience this?

ok battery is good and heres a new one i had the wiper switch on and hit a speed bump and they worked lol and started fine after work. so im going to look into all the grounds on the car. i say its weird because the wipers are in now way tied into the ingnition system right.

Check the 3 ground wires where the coil mounts, also don't forget the ground strap to the back of the block. Wipers have absolutely nothing to do with ignition. However having an electrical issue to start would cause any system to have problems. Also check your wires in the column, you may have a short in there causing wiper and ignition problems together.

ill check the colum as well i recently replaced one ground at the coil area. i hope the connector just fell off. and run a test on the wiper control switch

Ok just got to work after finally picking up a wiring diagram and found out the were alot of systems using the same ground wiper are one of em fuel pump i belive as well and it is the ones at the coil guess i need to stop thinking i fixed it once its not that lol
