| Aren't LT1 wires numbered and shaped according to what cylinder they're supposed to go into? | |

| No, but you check the lengths (cap is marked so you cant really screw up) The #7 is always to long I go past the plug & loop it back making sure it wont pivot down onto the exhaust. Its a PIA (especially if you use the old brackets that hold the 5 & 7 against the block Better off just tywrapping to the bracket (or anything you can) When you've got them right you'll know it Headers are 2X more difficult If you work it while the motors cold you'll be fine | |

| yeah for now its just temp fixed but going to talk to the idiots who gave me the 7mm wires. for not its tied off so it wont hit exaust, but now need to look into some different wires. i,m kinda leaning towards some accel wires any thought on those and if youve done em before whats the part number if ya know. | |

| are the ac delco's 7mm or 8mm but im kinda looking towards 8.5mm and want to try to get them a little longer so I can use the wire looms that bolt to the valve covers. | |

| AC Delco or any top name wire set will cost you $120+ I'm guessing thats not the weak link in your car now (guessing) So those wires from summit would be fine | |

| $67 at Rockauto: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1140029
That said, I read somewhere that the Jegs/Summit wiresets are nothing more than an aftermarket rebrand of the part store brands. | |

| now I have read the thread on plug wires and some have had the boot problem on the msd wires. how are your boots? also would getting a msd or similar coil improve my performance, or will it not be noticed | |

| Pretty sure the only problems are related to headers. With the stock manifolds there's acres of room. Cant comment on the coil, but once again, its a weak link thing. If your car is so fresh & crisp that it recognizes the improvement great...most arent | |
