I can very likely be there for that, as Halifax is entirely doable, and I look forward to meeting whoever shows up.

The sooner the better for me. I've got "stoopid-toolz", so figure out what you guys need me to bring.

I had a shuttering problem only when the TC was locked up, it was tune-up related.. What's going on with yours?

So who's committing to MOD day?
Is it a go?
Didnt see many YES votes.
I plan on it, unless it gets bumped.
The 96 needs to get some fresh air in its lungs.

You going to do it at mod day?
I'm betting Mike has a mamma jagoonga vice & I have the U-Joint tool.
Speak up if you need anything, I'm not packing anything thats not requested.

Yep, going to pull the old yoke and replace all the oil/posi lube while I'm at it. If you have a Torque wrench that would be super awesome. Also, according to the thread on the wagon board I dont't even have to touch the U-Joint. Arrow

But no in all seriousness I've never done this before so some helping hands so I don't do something to f**k up my car would be much appreciated. But I don't expect you to do all the work as thats just not fair to you.

I just scanned your longroof post
If its howling, your kidding your self going after just the seal.
I'm not worried about the work, its the results that are potentially problematic.
If you dont understand that link your going in hoping for the best.
Hey, if you dont try it you'll never know.
Does your e-brake work?
Worst case Chris will buff out that howl

E-brake works. Honestly, the car doesn't howl anymore. When we did the fuel pump and chit we did fresh gear and posi oil, its fine now. I also have a feeling it was the crap tires I used to have on the back that made the noise. Laughing . I was also being a bit facetious when I said I didn't get it. I read the post, and while it was a bit verbose I got what he was trying to say. I've also read thru the procedure in the FSM. Also, I don't expect it to be a 5 minute job. But it also seems rather straightforward to do.

Ok we're on. Are you replacing the yoke & seal?
Make sure you have the wagon up higher then 6'3", driveshaft off & the nut & threads all wire wheeled clean, threads counted, shaft/nut relationship marked e-brake on and the tools neatly arranged by size & function by the time I get there. queen

What about Matt? am I delivering parts?

Now that I got new quarters, paint will be soon. My goal is by next spring. I already got a couple quotes to have the whole car primed, fresh GM white and clear... may even go all out, pull all the stainless trim and fill the studs.
