| hey guys, iam running 17x9.5 rims on the back of the impala. right now iam running 275/40's. iam ready for new street tires. was thinking of goin with a 315/35. will that tire be able 2 mount up tp my 9.5' rim? | |

| You probably could but I think you'd be better off with a 10" or 10.5" for those... | |

| Checking a couple tire size calculators: 275-40-17 recommended rim width 9-11in, overall diameter 25.66in
315-35-17 recommended rim width 10.5-12.5in, overall diameter 25.68in Here are couple good tire size calculators to bookmark:

| thanks for the info. ive seen a feww people on other forum running this combo and they said its not a big deal. i do my own mounting at work so i can mess with it. | |

| i have a 285-40 -17 on stock impy rims with 35lbs of pressure no problem and the tires rim size recommended is at least 9" rim so i don't see why not.just my.02 | |
