| Ok my car is stalling out when warm I replaced coolant temp sensor cleaned maf and replaced driver o2 sensor. After I did this it ran great no more chech engine light even though we can't get any codes from it, but I drove it forabout an hour no problems. I. Get almost home and she died and when I tried to start it it would crank over but would act like it was either flooded or choking out. At this point I don't know what to do. Also I took the vacume hose off egr and no change in idle I put finger over egr hole and vacume hose same. Is this a good indication that egr is dead?

| Does it run solid only when cold? Does it stay stalled out with no restart till it gets cold? |

| here is exactly what it will do at first start (cold) will run perfect besides leaky exaust manifold which seals in about a min or 2 so ill go for a ride runs great driving and gets up to operational temp and will start to sputter watching oil gauge fluctuate then a small backfire i think then dies. so ill sit on side of road trying to start and cranks great but wont start i let it cool for like a couple minutes and it starts but takes a bit will sound like pop pop vroom pop sputter then perfect and will stay that way drive great but say i give it WOT it will go then after letting out of throttle will start acting up again. when i putt finger on EGR nipple no change in idle plug vacume same no change in idle im thinking now that the drivers o2 sensor is new and maf is cleaned and if i pull maf wires out it dies so its not that. so egr and solinoid are on list for replacement tommorow. also before i replaced 02 sensor it would throw a cel before it would die now it dont just a quick die and if i use paper clip or tester nothing will pull the codes. if not egr or solinoid the ICM is next with new heat sink compound and maybe a coil. oh i really need this pcm to be checked by a real computer. | |

| did you try replacing the fuel filter??? i had an 89 box caprice id have it cooking on the highway and it would just die, also just cruising at like 40 same thing. maybe its not when the car is warm but just a coincidence thats how long it takes the sediment to block up your filter. think about it... as your sitting on the side of the road waiting for it to "cool down" all that stuff is pulling away from the filter, or even better maybe you have a clogged fuel pick up sock i've had cars cut out because that sock filter on the fuel pump was blocked up with crap from the tank (maybe even the sock falling off, and now your just sucking from the pump) its worth a shot to drop the tank down and take a look inside, only gotta do it once to see whats happening in there. | |

| I know this comes up ALOT, but did you replace the ECT on the WP? Thats what my car did. As soon as it warmed up it stumbled. I could start mine with a foot to the floor method (mainly because I never could just SIT there) | |

I could start mine with a foot to the floor method (mainly because I never could just SIT there) yeah i canched it first thing that came to mind now i was stalled on side of road and crankin sputter crank sputter crank sputter then i got out looked at motor and there was oil on ground looks like its coming from crank shaft seal i never done one of these before i have no clue and now i thinking of just selling it and buying one of those 500 boxes i saw on craigslist. start the bidding at 1000 is it possible that all this is caused by a crank position sensor? it does it alot more now and the oil leak | |
