| That thing looks sweet. Those scratches can be an excuse for a repaint too | |

| Nice find!!! I thik I've only ever seen one driving on the road around here. Any pics of the dually? I'm in the market for a truck especially c/k 81-91 (would love a 3+3 crew cab if anyone knows where one is). | |

A repaint is a must. Interestingly enough the hood and DS fender look fine. I'm thinking accident, but he claims it never has been in one (as long as he had it). - Ironfistdog wrote:

I'll have to get some pics of it, I either don't have any or can't find them. Someone near me has an 87 3+3 long bed dually parked in his yard but doesn't want to sell it. Mine is an 85 C20 (1 ton HD rear option), 8ft, 305, 106k. Some rust and needs exhaust, and paint.

| Here's the only recent pic I could find of it. It's the one closest to the Roadmaster (with another truck bed on itself) | |

| Well the cruiser made it home, definitely not the ride I was expecting. This car definitely has issues that need addressing. The first and most major was the engine started missing, pinging and I could not get this car out of its own way. That started a few miles into my journey. Half way through the trip that cleared up and only showed now and then. I am guessing a bad wire or something, who knows. It only does this under load. Next is the steering. The car tracks straight and all, but if you hit a bump you can feel through the steering wheel something vibrating bad, almost losing control at times. Any ideas what that is? And under minor annoyances, the front speakers don't work, the DS window switch only goes down, not up. And the exhaust is LOUD. Sounds like my 9C1 with its hooker mufflers on it lol. I gotta say, when the car wasn't acting up the ride was nice, the 305 was not as bad as I thought it would be. Feels like driving an LT1 wagon while towing another wagon. UPDATE: Took it to work this morning, no engine problems at all. Still going to do a full tune up on it and hope this never happens again. Here's some shots before work. Being a 91, I was eligable to get Connecticut's Early American Vehicle plates. Thats our version of classic plates. Looks good on an Olds. Too bad they let you put these on foreign cars, its just wrong! I am probably the first to put these on a B-body, I have them on my 87 Lesabre and have seen another one those with them on it. | |

| Check the timing. My roadmaster would ping like crazy under load and the timing was off. | |

| I always thought those wheels looked cool. I wonder if Chevy truck smoothies would fit for a Caprice application or something, lol.
There was a car like this for sale in Ipswich, MA for about 700 bucks, looked identical, back when my dad bought a truck from the same place like 6-7 years ago. He almost bought it! I remember it had a mint cond. red leather interior.
