I did some welding today to get my exhaust ready to install. The h pipe and mufflers come from a wrecked 94 Impala ss. The tail pipes were to bent and damaged and could not be used, but the tail pipes from another exhaust just needed the tips cut off and some pipe welded on so they would slide into the mufflers on the other end.

I also installed a set of NGK tr55 plugs set at .040 and a set of 8.0mm Jegs wires I had laying around. Throttle responce is much better. But I think it may need a cap and rotor. The plugs were in terrible condition, and two wires were cracked. No

Yeh, with all that coughing and choking it was doing.

It still won't break the tires loose. I think the opti is stopping that. No

Did you start it for the vids? I musta missed it... Wink

Cheap eBay opti FTW!!! Very Happy

And how did those JEGS wires fit? They were for an F-body, right? Can you snap a few pics? One of each bank and one of the opti? Or at least, what you can see with it all put back together... Please oh, please??? Very Happy

I have two good ones sitting on my shelf, but open to cheap ideas. How much or linky to said opti?

They fit as well as any other aftermarket wire, except the pass side opti side boots do not have the 90 degree bend in them, so you have to bend the boot, and they are a bit longer than stock. Yes they are for a F-body, but the price states they are for a B-body. Wink

Trial and error. These are non platnium tip plugs, so the gap has to be closer.
