When the rust is visible in a Craigslist photo, I can only imagine what it looks like in person.

Even when I imagine crazy 2-tone schemes, I dont think purple.

Good news is, you'd only have to repaint 1/2 the car......or not?

I don't know what it is about Somersworth, NH. The ultra low mileage DMC 9c1 from a couple years ago originally came from Hill top Chevy in Somersworth. I saw that "New Caprice Police car last week. It is a Somersworth PD car. And today, I see the above car drive by me at almost the same location I saw the cruiser...... Weird!

seen it last summer in Boston sounds pretty good then.

This one is in my town, I've watched this guy run the thing into the ground. At one point there was a big rust streak along the side from the brakes...I mean the ENTIRE side for about two months. Has sounded like ass for a few months now, probably since November, Kind of like a huge exhaust leak or an opti maybe? I bet it has a no start and he just decided to part it out. Good car for someone with a motor? And extra brake parts.

The 9c1 with the bonnies has a blue interior. It's decent, but not worth the price IMHO. It needs some things, looks a little crusty around the area where the tank straps go into the body (are they all like this?) and has 220K...still an interesting cah however. If it were half that I'd snag it just because it has the cool console shift n'stuff...

Yeah, that 9c1 is literally right around the corner from me. I've done pretty good for not stopping to look at it for the past couple years as it's gone on/off for sale...

The owner got it from a guy who did the mods to it. It's an ex MSP cruiser. According to the guy, someone used the car in whatever the Cannonball Run is called now, Lap of America or something? It has black carpeting inside instead of the rubber floor, but I don't know how the floors look rust-wise, etc.

Underside is rough, there's a hole through the bottom of the passenger side C pillar, and the transmission slips from 2nd to 3rd. On the plus side, it runs well and has new-ish GM Opti, plugs, and wires. The owner says she gets 240 miles to a tank , but she commutes on local streets.
