| As some of you already know I bought Brandons 81 as a roller. I have a 5.3 with truck accessories I got from him also. As of right now it is staying fuel injected with a Camaro harness that I am going to modify. I'm in the process of making my own S&P style adapter plates because I'm cheap and couldn't see spending that much an a couple flat plates. I'll update as I go. | |

| Before you modify the Camaro harness check engine fit. In my 96 Impala I had clearance issues with the overhang above the firewall (The top of the truck intake hit it) and ended up going with an LS1 intake anyway. Found one on LS1tech for $85 shipped, complete with injectors and rail.
Let me know if you need any info, I am balls deep in that swap right now.

| What are you running for mounts and headers? I have seen a few guys with boxes running s&p mounts and Camaro longtubes. Thats what I'm gonna try to do for now. I'm up in the air about an intake. I have a few truck ones but I'm not sure if I want to run one. I would go LS6 but $300 for a factory intake seems crazy to me. I was thinking of going with a Victor Jr. with either a throttle body and air cleaner on it, or with an elbow and throttle body. The other option is the FAST 102 LSXRT intake but they are around $1000. Eventually I plan to put either a Procharger on it or go turbo. I have a bracket kit to go Procharged, just no head unit. I'm picking up an intercooler from Brandon soon too. He was nice enough to leave the whole nitrous fuel system and regulator so I feel as though I should use that too. If I go single plane it will get a plate kit. | |

| I'll get some pics this week. I haven't really gotten to work on the car yet. I'm going to be pulling the headers off this week to sell them since I won't be needing them. I need to get some flat stock so I can make my adapter plates. I made a template up for those last night. Probably going to make a few sets if anyone wants some. I've been looking for a cam so I can swap that before I drop the motor in. I also picked up a set of the Kent Moore LS tools so I can re-align the covers and oil pan correctly. | |

| I'll post up some pics once I get it back. I paid the $40 and bought some ebay motor mounts after I realized it was cheaper than buying steel to make my own. Hoping to drop the motor in as soon as the cars in my possesion. Planning on running either a 4l60e or t56. Really hoping to come up with a t56 since I miss shifting my own gears | |

| Looking forward to this build! Going to be a sweet car when it is done. I went for a ride in it when Brandon had it so you have to top that | |

| Don't have a ton of real progress yet. My eBay motor mounts came in yesterday. The car is getting a t56. Suppose to pick it up in a few weeks. I need to see what's left of the old fuel system in the car. I still have the walbro 255 that came out of it. Hoping I can put that back in and run a vette regulator for now to save some money. Planning on running a set of stock manifolds for now also. Brandon said he would help with the wiring so I'm looking to pick up a 99-02 Camaro LS1/t56 harness to modify. I'll get some pics of the motor this weekend to post up and hopefully get some of the car early next week | |

| I picked the car up today finally. Good to have it back again. My regulator came in and the fittings should be here the first of the week. Motor should be in the car by next Friday. I still need to get some pics posted up since they are much better than my rambling posts. | |

| I got the motor 95% of the way in today. Have a couple screwdrivers through the drivers side bolt hole until I have someone to help get the bolt in. I used energy suspension motor mount inserts and had a heck of a time lining everything up. Crovo said the trans will be back from the shop this week so I'll be heading up to grab that. Hopefully I can get all the accessories bolted up this week also. I'll try to add some pics tonight | |
