| PARKING LIGHTS WORK TURNING SIGNALS WORK HIGHBEAMS WORK HEADLIGHTS DONT? I BOUGHT A HEADLIGHT SWITCH THINKING THAT WAS THE PROBLEM BUT WASNT WHAT COULD IT BE? | |

WHAT COULD IT BE? Behind the passenger side footwell trim. The piece that goes from under the dash, and becomes the door sill. There is a white box whith a wire harness. This is the control box for twilite centinal. It may have failed and needs replacement. But there is a maxi fuse for just the head lights I think in the fuse panel. Try there first. |

| I had both bulbs fail at the same time on my old 9C1. I couldn't believe it! Did you check them? I know it seems unlikely... | |

would the high beams still work if the bulbs failed? Pull the bulbs out and inspect the elements. And yes if the lower elements are the only thing that failed. |

Splice in a new wire. Or you can replace the whole socket. They sell them at Autozone and PepBoys... Upgrade the wiring. APC makes a nice, cheap harness. There's plenny on eBay, too... (And it'll help your light output, too! ) | |
