| Maybe your thinking Air Pump? I know rule of thumb is stock...leave EGR in, just wondering if anyone has any experience | |

| I know it's off topic, but if you've got a TBI motor, you have to keep it if all else is stock. | |

| Rumor is that there is enough overlap for the LT1 to "self-egr" in stock form. I just got a set of block-off plates for the intake offin ebay for like 15 bucks shipped with gaskets and called it a day. I was planning to have to tune it out, but it didn't throw a code... | |

NP, man. I didn't actually remove the egr or solenoid either. So it's there for the visual inspection (and I'm lazy ). I Just deleted the tube that goes from the intake to the passenger manifold... | |

| i was just reading about this you have to have your egr functional due to detonation issues the only engine that dont need it is the ls4 due to the cam design this is where i read about it. http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_EGR.html | |

| Well, if it knocks I'll have it tuned out. No place for EGR on the Afterburners. | |
