PostSubject: Just joined up, check me out   Sun Dec 05, 2010 3:54 pm

New here, i have a 79 coupe, nicely optioned, ac, light blue cloth, power everything, VINTAGE pioneer super tuner, with cassette, was two tone blue and grey, currently disassembled and in primer(cant pick out a color, any ideas). Car was 1 owner 115k with the motor being changed at 100k, not because anything was wrong, but because the original owner "didn't want problems in the future" no rust or rot, just BAD paint checking. nice 235/75 15's on black steelies with original(or period) dog dish chevy caps. paid 2500 in may and have a couple more in professional bodywork(can u say 90% bare metal) but im painting myself. the car needs a head liner and maybe a carpet to become as close to a #1 as i will let her be(though trailer queen is not in her future) her 305 and 3spd auto are currently bogged down by emissions garbage, but perform flawlessly with not a drop of fluids leaking. Ive got most of my planning down and plan to have her painted by new year, but im wondering about front suspension mods, mainly easy cheap stuff, as everything is essentially in fantastic condition. ive posted the majority of my questions elsewhere. Any insight would be awesome.
