| Well, I'll keep this strictly B/D body related, otherwise i'd be here all day typing all the cars ive owned.. It started when I was 16. I was given a 95 9c1, blue on blue. I had NO idea about these cars, and wasn't very interested. I sold the car before i even registered it. Sorry, no pics.. Fast forward two years. Its 2006, im 18, and I graduate high school. I wanted a bigger car than what I was driving, and ended up buying my Fleetwood off my stepfather. It was a 96 Brougham, dark blue on dark blue leather with factory sunroof and vinyl roof! I LOVED this car.. One of my favorite pics.. @Nantasket beach, jus wish the chrome piece by the wheel wasnt hanging off lol I did a home made air intake, summit turbo mufflers, resonator delete, window tints, and an obnoxious stereo.. Unfortunately, I sold it when the trans. started acting up Anyways, ON to the next one. I started driving the 1a2 which is now Billys. This is how she looked. Well at this point, the wagons werent really doing anything for me.. So I started driving my old truck again.. then I stumpled upon the deal of a lifetime(literally..) Rmember the Want Ads? I do. There was an ad for a black 96 roadmaster wagon with 65k on it for $1,000.00 I though for sure it was a typo. I called immediately, and set up an appointment to see it that night. Where did I have to go? A FUNERAL HOME! SWEET! After talking with the guy, I get the car for $500.00! W00t! This is what i saw when I went there.. At this point I felt like i hit the lottery. A low mile black wb4 Roady with ruby red leather for 500 bucks! BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! Did I mention the OTHER RMW the Funeral home had? He didnt want to sell it because it "ran too good".. it was a 95 black wb4, tan leather interior, and 196k on it! Original transmission, and I warned him about having that many miles on the stock trans, but he wouldnt budge. Literally 5 days later, I get the call. "hey man, you still interested in the high mile wagon? I just went through the car wash, put the car in "D", and it didnt move!" So obviously, I act cool. Ask him how much he wants, he says $200.00 bucks! I went right down and picked her up. Back at my work, they looked so good together! So, I sold the black & tan high miler right away and made some $$. Then, started tinkering with my new baby! It started with a GOOD cleaning, and 20% tint all around. Then, I got wheels! 20"s all around, 275/40zr20 on all four corners. Despite the fact that Fishah thought they were gawdy, I LOVED them! At this point, i got compliments EVERYWHERE i went. from muscle car guys, to kids in hondas, everybody liked my car. One of my favorite pics of this car for some reason.. WagonFest08 Then, I made the biggest mistake out of all my vehicle related mistakes, and sold her. I know, im a dumbass. I still get shit for it from the Crovo's of the world.. what am I in your cell phone as Bill BUT, I started driving the 1a2 again, and started liking it! Cleaned the sh&t out of it, added 9c1 wheels, anddd i think thats it lol. One of my favorites of this car.. Then I started hanging out with crazy group of people.. and one of them bought this wagon when I picked up my current wagon So as most of you have probably seen, i know have a 95 RoadMaster Wagon. Its Medium Adriatic Blue, and had woodgrain. Most of you know I bought the car in March out of North Carolina, with 99k on it. Current odo is 109k, and anything that could have broke on this car, HAS broke. The day i picked her up, notice the shitty wood trim, and rubber missing from chrome trim. Here she is after several THOROUGH washes, new rubber moldings, and re-painted all the wood trim. Then I bought some chrome 15"s My transmission died and I needed to keep busy. I ran my Air intake, did a mechanical fan delete, air-pump delete, and wood grain delete. Then, i bought a transmission off of Glen (No Moa, thanks again!) and took pictures to show off the rust free underbelly.. Sorry for the lengthy post, thats all I got for now! As it sits is how the car was for the Fall Roundup. Big plans for winter I'd also like to say thank you for anybody who's helped me along the way. You guys answer all my questions, I've bought & sold parts, and I've learned alot from everybody here. Just wanted to say thanks! -Paul | |

| Wow, I didn't know you had the beautiful black one with the rims...that was a sweet looking ride...the word dumbass comes to mind when thinking about you selling it... I look forward to seeing how this new one turn out, it seems to be a very clean chassis to start with and now that the wood is gone I have high hopes for the potential it has! Doug | |

I've got bigger and better plans for the blue one though, chances are it will eventually be black and I KNOW I'm a dumbass for selling the black ones, live and learn! (I did make some $$ though!! ) | |

| Great story Paul, I liked the Caddy and the Black Funeral Home wagons.
After reading the story I know what I'm doing tomorrow. I guy from Memphis TN, bought a local funeral home a couple of years ago. He has a 95 MAB (it may be an LAB) non woody, from TN. I'm going there tomorrow, not to make arrangements for myself, but to let him know I would be interested in his wagon if he ever sells it. I don't know how I'll ever pull that one off with the Mrs., but I'll deal with that if it ever happens.
Actually my first wagon the 95 RMW LAB was from a funeral home. I never told my kids until I got rid of it, cause I knew they would not ride in it.

| Took this yesterday.. Slapped a couple of Rich's Old SS wheels(I think off the car that got totalled?) onto my wagon.. Theyre sprayed gunmetal I think, but I'm going to paint them in spring.. I would've put the fronts on, but those two tires were JUNK. Oh and dont mind my exhaust, I backed into a curb with the tailpipe and broke the hanger.. no biggy.. And its filthy.. sorry, cell phone pic | |
