Do you know if most of these were sold new in the middle east, or shipped via gray market? I've had people come up to me and say the reason there aren't a lot of Caprices on the roads anymore is because of them being shipped overseas.
If you look at pictures of the Highway of Death from the first Gulf War, there are a lot of Caprices and Chevy trucks in the wreckage/aftermath. Many of them were still drivable and people just came by and took them. The Iraqis stole them from the Kuwaitis I believe and tried to flee back to Iraq, don't know the specifics. | |

| A Company used to run ads in the Boston papers, looking for Caprices. They paid top dollar and they were shipped overseas. I friend of mine sold his caprice that needed work, for way more than he could have got selling it himself. I think it was an 86.
