Thanks.

You need two 45* 3" pvc pipe pieces and a a 3" rubber coupler. Also need like a 4" length of 3" pvc pipe to glue between the two 45's. You'll need pvc glue, too, if you don't have it. And a hockey puck. (black paint too, if you wanna get fancy) You'll have to cut a little notch out of the rubber connector for the MAF, too. You'll see what I mean when you go to put it on there.

Get a hole saw and drill out the airbox, too. Smile

Pretty easy mod. Very Happy

I didn't like the way that looked. So I just used a straight pipe.

I painted it with krylon fusion. I used a rubber connector from home depot and cut notches out of it to fit the MAF properly. The factory box is at a little bit of an angle now but it still snaps into the PCM cover.

That looks exactly like my 94 ss did back in 95. I used the staight pipe, but I used a 3" no hub coupling which has a full metal band over the rubber, and after one year, I traded the pvc pipe for a 1 foot piece of EMT. You can also use a chrome exhaust tip as well, just has to be at least 1 foot long after both ends are cut off. As far as the box itself. Just pop it off the inner fender button that holds it, and angle it. You can drill the lower box, but keep some integrity in it to make a good seal for the filter. With a fresh K&N drop in filter, you should see a 5-7hp gain. Probably not enough to feel, but you will hear it. cheers
