17" Drag Radials Empty
PostSubject: 17" Drag Radials   17" Drag Radials EmptyFri Nov 19, 2010 10:26 am

Ok goin to get a set for the wagon . Anyone have input for a size that fits. I'd like 27/28"s tall. Have Impala SS 17" rims. I spun the 255's the other day in the rain so ya know the car is making some power Wink . Actually leaning more to the 28s to help kill a little bit of the rear gear. So any mods to make it fit ??

the fronts are new 255s .. 27"s tall. Now you know I know nothing about newer cars like this. How will this effect the "abs" ??? Do most guys in here just run street tires ?? What would be the best "SS" site for stuff like this ??

Thanks for the replys guys. Really wanted to stay with a taller tire (28") to kill some of the rear gear. Looks like the M&H is the only game in town for 28s. I have M&Hs on my RX7 but havent tried them out yet. My daughters car did 1.4 60's with M/T 275/60/15s in a 3700# Buick so I think they should work fine on the wagon. Only thing I am worrying about is tire clearance. Anyone else use 28s or know someone who has?? I did have to use Mr. "BIG" Hammer on the RX7 to clearance a little here an there. I was hoping the 28s will fit without "making" them Cool
