| Old funeral home car. Down in Fall River... Man I wish I had $1500 right now. Underside is a bit crusty and so is one of the quarters, but not too bad.

| Glen is right, that is a rough looking flower car with 77K. They should have at least cleaned it up for the pictures.

Tell that to those that have pushed it past $1500 . Miles aren't everything in this case. But having only seen that one part of the frame and that one quarter I wont judge yet. Ive seen worse. Plus its a black WB4. Those aren't getting any rarer.

yup !!! $$$$ well spent !! That is a nice OCC in Az I'd rather rebuild a drivetrain than fix a rust critter.

By the time you find one, get someone to look at it, pay to fly out, or haul, which can cost as much as the car, buying a car "out west" is more hassle than anything. There are rust free cars on the east coast, if you know where to look. One of these type cars anyway. My buddy lives in San Diego and trolls CL and the local ad's for me. I visit every year. My plan for this spring, if all goes properly is to check a couple out and either ship one home or just drive it. I have it all planned out in my head But of course that plan is probably full of holes I never anticipated...

| That rust in the pics seems mostly like it's not through the metal, but who knows what it would look like in person... What I'm wondering is why would the funeral home use a wagon like that as a "flower car"? You can't see the flowers! | |

We dont use a flower car either. Too flippin expensive. We pack ours into our van and transport them ahead of time to the cemetery. My guess is thats what this car did, as well as just a general "utility" car. The windows aren't tinted so my guess is it wasnt used for removals and transfers.

lol dude make up your mind Both of my B's are basically rust free. Nothing but a little surface rust. Solid floors and rear quarters. Both were purchased in RI. They are out there, look around and don't buy the first one you can afford. Unless of course it is rust free.

Yeah, head gasket got done. It "only" ran me $850 parts and labor. New head gasket, valve cover, head bolts, timing belt tensioner and a fuel filter (it was the original, car has 108k, I figure its about time )
