I just might go to Home Depot and pick up some 8' shelving and close the back for a change.

If I put a BADASS sticker on it can I stay in the club?

Only if you're in the Secret Society. A membership which also includes free swag, tire pump usage at club events, a discount at Newicks (2% off on a bill of $100 or more) and an air freshener shaped like Crovo.

Must be a pretty big air freshener... Wink

And obviously, air compressor use is available to non-SS members also... Wink

I'm buying my own! Razz

And on that note, the Irving gas station on the way home from the ice cream place has an air machine that takes debit cards. I wonder what Bank of America will wonder when they see a $0.75 charge at a gas station Laughing

Bill, I was going to use that air pump to give my shocks a boost and make you cringe!

If I was I couldn't tell you so how do you know I'm not?

I had to bring a tire to a pay pump (the spare was flat too). This one was digital and apparently 75 cents/tire. It's enough to make you want to buy your own pump.

This truck was inspected just 1K miles ago. So hopefully a new Summit turbo muffler, patch a couple small rust holes and it will be good to go. Maybe tackle posi and the AC next year.

The box told me go go straight wher you all turned off 202. I ended up right back at Concord where I was all morning.

It good to be back!

I had an offer on the Suburban today that I don't think I can refuse. Smile

TBI FTW! Looks like it hasn't been your only one either though.

I'm looking for one of those Suburbans failing an ext. cab 4wd for my dad, his Chevy has just about had it and has 310K on the engine now. Laughing

I installed a portable air puump! Advance Auto has one on clearance for $30.15. I'd post a link but their web is very very slow.

This truck has just about the best heater ever!

I'm thinking of cutting off the top and making it into a f'n giant el Camino!

Get a cab back from a regular cab. I will weld it in, and turn it into a avalanch. Can even make a removable lower, and if it is not a barn door truch, use the rear hatch for a back glass. Then you can lift the hatch, remove the wall, and you have a pick up. cheers

There was one on craigslist a while back.

Look what I found when I went looking for it:
http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/2108571012.html
94 chevy suburban - $1000 (hudson nh)

no rust?

How would make a door for the Avalance style? I never saw one up close.

And I do have barn doors but a tailgate/hatch wouldn't be too hard to find.

Now I'm really not going to cut this up. Now the Blazer (full size) on the other might make a nice short el Camino.
That truck's off the road for good in April...

Yes it's getting realy bad underneath. I have an exhaust leak up near the manifold, the fuel lines rusted, many of the brake lines rusted. I have a noise from the engine, maybe flex plate. It just got to the point where I thought it's time to retire.

It seems a few folks have cut the back part of the top and put on a Blazer top (on the earlier body style).

Change in plans, I'm going to leave the Texas Cadillac alone.
I almost forgot about this, the el Camaro:

Got a 9C1 coolant sensor pigtail tonight (could be it was an F-body one?).
New plugs and I polished the headlights.

I've used maybe one tank of gas since the spring.

I still haven't installed the 9C1 alternator or got new shocks yet.

You actually need to use a 9C1 battery with the 9C1 alternator or else you won't get proper charge. I read it on the internet so I know it's true.
