 exhaust experts needed

PostSubject: exhaust experts needed   Wed Aug 18, 2010 11:00 pm

Is there any way to reach the passenger side o2 sensor on an l99 without dropping the exhaust? From below it's close to unreachable, and from the top you can only access the wires with small hands. I'm thinking of going through the wheelwell but not sure if it'll work.

Little help please

1 on each side. I remembered that from doing the battery cables and grounds on my old car. The passenger side one is almost invisible unless you know exactly where to look. The problem is looking and removing involve much different amounts of clearence Rolling Eyes

I'd rather not mess with removing any exhaust parts since they'll either end up breaking or leaking in the process. Never mess with 20 year old bolts in new england

Dude I took off the cats of both my wagon and current caprice NO problem. No broken bolts no spray. They just came right out. If you are worried, let the car run for a little while, that will heat up the bolts and they should come out very easy.
