| After seeing Als car lowered, I decided to get off my ass, and set mine up with the rake I wanted. I took the stock uncut set of 9C1 springs that Mark Ross had given me, and cut one coil+2" out of it, then sanded and painted them before install. I will get an alignment tomorrow, and be good to go until I can get another steering box with less play. Before: After: |

| I might go lower. After seeing the photoshop of it, I feel I did not go far enough. That pic ruined my glory. |

Well if that's true I certainly wouldn't park next to Anthony on Sunday.

| The front wagon springs are the same as the impala SS springs, so if you only cut 2" of a coil, you are probably still taller than stock. I have 9C1 springs with one full coil cut off and love it. Stock wheels are even with the top of the fender lip... yet I still have room for 235/75R15 snow tires in the winter!
If I were to do it again, though, I would only cut off 3/4 coil.

| The car has settled now, and the tire is even with the lip. It looks awesome. And the frame is resting on the ZQ8 bump stops. |

That is what the rust on the frame is doing. |
