| As most of you probably already know, I picked up a Roadmaster posi rear from the boneyard as a temporary repair for the rear end I broke. The rear end came from a 96 with 110k on the clock. I paid 150 for the rear, I added a new set of drums (11" models), added a set of my braided stainless steel lines and put a newer used rear cover and brand new hardware. I also changed the fluid and inspected the axles/ diff. I flaked off the surface rust and sprayed the housing quick with some engine enamel I had laying around.
In about 2-3 weeks, my new rear end should be done and this one is getting snapped out and sold. I would like to get 200 obo for it as described and I will also throw in a rear sway bar. Let me know if you are interested, and we can try and set something up.
Thanks | |

Let me know... If you found a set for $40 then jump on it man. That's a great deal. I've only been able to find those things for like $40 each. There's no way I could beat that price. Plus the deal you counter-offered would break down to you paying me $125 for mine which is a crapload compared to $40 from the other guy. I'd feel like a thief | |

| The plastic parts are somewhat hard to come by. They range anywhere from $20 each to $50 each depending on who's selling them. It's like the silicone hoses that came on the later 9c1's. Some people take them off and sell the set for $100 and some places just cut all the hoses to pull the radiators out faster. It's all about where you go and who you know. I'll sell mine eventually but for $40 it's not worth all the trouble at this particular second. Depending on how my thinking goes I may hit you up about the rear if you still have it in a month or so. I'm betting you'll have no trouble selling it quick though Now if it were already drilled for 5x4 3/4 bolt pattern then I'd be pulling it out from under you at a stop sign | |
