Yesterday at about 1400 hours a teriffic storm hit this area causing major damage. Two towns over (Gorham) a farmer there lost his barn due to the extreme tornado level winds. Here at the farm we lost several good size oak amd maple trees, the garden didn't fair all that well either. The corn that was about two weeks out is laying on the ground flatter then a dog turd. Hail hit us for about 20-30 minutes, dime size that sounded like a 22 cal machine gun when it was hitting all the metal roofs. Thank God all the cars were inside the garages!! You work so hard and then somehting like this can discourage the best of us. Farming is not easy by any means.

Hope everyone else faired well.

Larry

I watched some of it from the hill, only got bad enough here to blow over one tree and half an hour or some rough rain, but we got off easy here.

I was up in Vermont yesterday and I experienced a bit of that storm. Driving through dark country roads with torrential down pour is not fun.

Damn Larry. That sucks. Sad Hope your property/home insurance covers the damage.

We got off lucky here, with only some crazy lightning and some winds and a bit of rain...
