 WTB/ Borrow R-12 Hose...

PostSubject: WTB/ Borrow R-12 Hose...   Sun Jul 18, 2010 7:56 pm

I've been getting the stuff to retrofit my car to -134 but I just saw a guy listing cans of R-12 for $12 each on CL and was curious if someone had a hose with the R-12 fitting so I can try a recharge before I go thru a whole retrofit.

I have a bunch of stock AC stuff...whatever that is...I don't use AC, so I don't know what is what.

Hmm.. If you have a recharge hose that would be sweet. I know 94+ cars use 134A.

The retrofit kit is just a different connector that screws on the low side canister, a couple cans and a hose with gauge. Very easy to do. study

Yeah, I have the o ring kit and the -134 connectors. I was just figuring if someone had a -12 hose I could just fill it and skip the rest lol. But looking back, it'd make more sense to have -134, -12 is only going to get harder to find.
