I figured we already have some movie based threads going and this would be a nice way to find out more about our fellow members. Plus we might discover something we haven't come across before that we get hooked on. So here's the newest non-car related thread.
Post your top 3 favorite bands and a link to some of their stuff so everyone can take a sample listen.
I'll start:
1) Rammstein 2) Sevendust 3) System of a Down

Haven seen all three bands live, I will add a couple more I have seen live. BTW Rammstein has the sickest light show I have ever seen. The pyros are so intense. 1. Disturbed 2. Godsmack 3. Shinedown

1) Abba 2) The BeeGee's 3) The Village People
I could have made it a fat joke but a gay joke is easier
Otherwise it would be
1) Meatloaf 2) Bread 3) Cake
Hey look I got a gay joke and a fat joke in there
Ok I'm done teasing you now. But you did start it with your first post on this thread
Billy's lucky he played along because I had a few good jokes in store for him too

Some good hard stuff mentioned, I love System of A Down, and have seen Shinedown a couple times and they put on a great show. I have a very eclectic music taste, pretty much runs the whole spectrum. Lately I have found myself getting into a lot of classic country stuff, like the late-great Jerry Reed, and I have always loved Roger Miller. Now I know this is a pretty tough group here, so my country tastes may be shunned.

A guy that drives a truck in the back woods and knocks down trees with bulldozers likes country? Who'da thunk it
I would have pegged you as a guy that likes classic rock and a bit of the good ol boy music.
So do you ever listen to Ween? They make music that falls into an eclectic catagory. Here's a sample Ween (piss up a rope)

Actually, I'm more of a Wham fan.
I pretty much listen to everything too. Only stuff I can't listen to is Jazz. Sounds like everyone is playing a different song! Oh, and R&B/top 40, too. Can't stand that crap!
But I have a very mixed collection, too. Metallica, Jason Mraz, Disturbed, Iron Maiden, Sugarland, Garth Brooks, Nickelback, Zach Brown Band, Creedence, etc...

Welcome to Flight of the Conchords. I have both seasons of their HBO show and both of their albums. I never got any of their early albums but the new stuff is basically just their old stuff remastered.

I can't put my finger on a favorite band or song...it changes too much too often and I listen to tons of random stuff. That's why I gotta buy an MP3 player or something I can plug into my car too...I think if I ever got an iPod I'd smash it within a week. I've been on kind of a Stones kick though lately...Midnight Rambler and Monkey Man...hell yeah.
So failing that, how about random music videos that have B-bodies in them?

Any of you Rammstein fans out there have the album by emigrate? He's the founder of Rammstein and it was his solo album from a couple years back. It's actually in English too
Here's a couple videos off this site. The first one was tied into the 3rd Resident Evil movie

And for those who don't have it yet the new Sevendust album is
I like it because I'm a huge fan, but it's deffinetly more of a mellow album from them. It's like their "reload" album
The newest Rammstein is a little mellower too, but that's still harder than most people would like

I am with you. Nothing hits the spot like Devildriver's "Swinging the dead", any Korn, Metalica, Hatebreed, Disturbed, Tool, Pantera. I listen to XMs channel 48 "The Octane" Always Kick ass music.

the salesmen at the dealership i work at are probably trying to figure out why all the cars on the lot with xm are already tuned to octane.
