| 3m rubbing compound with a wool pad on mini buffer to keep heat down.... then switch to a polish pad and any polish compound you want i recommend meguiars number 66 quick detail........ you would have to be a true pyro to burn anything with this compound and the finish is wow! | |

| Nice find, I wanted some of those to go with my black grille. I'm actually thinking of getting a set of those smoked clear lenses, but I'm concentrating on my truck right now. I'd suggest some Meguiars Plast-X and a Powerball Mini in a cordless drill, pretty easy and both things are readily avail. at Wal-Fart. You could even use some 2000 grit sandpaper on them first if you wanted. As far as the emblem, I have been thinking of painting mine with the Krylon Fusion I have that matches the car, and leaving the bowtie in the middle as-is. The chrome is all worn out on mine, just like the grille and the trunk trim piece were, I guess tree sap ate it all off or something weird like that. I figure it will help blend it in with the car a little bit more, and also still give me an emblem to look at when I'm driving. I'm too used to having it there to remove it now. | |

It's cool. But it for some reason feels like it belongs on an Olds. Even thou Olds never had the LT1...

| The left one is just a fancy Camaro emblem where as the middle and right ones are ricer versions. I'd say skip them all since the car would look a little odd with the Camaro emblems. Maybe find an 80's Chevy and snatch the key cover trunk emblem off of it. Then just rip the base off and use the cover plate as the hood emblem. | |

I was thinking about it but everyone puts an Impala grill on their Caprice. I MIGHT paint the middle black.

| If you get rid of the chrome and stainless on that car I will have to hurt you. Black and chrome is hard to beat! Looks pretty sinister with the covers. I like the chrome grill, too. | |
