| I just pulled the trigger on another wagon, pictures Tuesday when it gets delivered. That means I have until then to tell the Mrs. I have learned being married for 31 years, it is easier to do it and then tell her after the fact, than to ask and have her get steamed up about it. But on the positive side, I just redid all the shrubs in the front of the house and bought all new plants for her flower garden; and for an extra "atta boy" I had a professional gardener do it all. But sometimes women have a short memory. Stay tuned!

To get one up in the northeast in that good of condition is very rare and to top it off it is a 92, which has the 350 engine. Shampoo the interior, which is really not that dirty and a little polish will go a long way! - GasTT wrote:

You may be right, but I think she wants to go see her sisters in Washington state. She knows how the game is played. Now, this is how I look at it, I don't golf, chase women, go to bar rooms, don't have a motorcycle or a boat. So...................................I now have two wagons. Tom C.

Yup. It already looks good, just needs a good scrub and it's on its way. We may bring both to WF, not sure yet. - silverfox103 wrote:

Tom C. That was my argument to my ex when I spent more than I should have on my HO trains. She never understood... Probably a reason why she is an ex Btw, Paul, is this the one you bought? http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/cto/1846112343.html

http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/cto/1846112343.html Yes sir! The guy was VERY firm with no lower than 900 over the phone. Well, he failed to mention that he hit a gaurdrail with the pass side so the Pass. fender, and both doors are banged up.. But, we got the car for 650. Lowwww miles, 66k. Kind of sucks that we're going to part it out.. My stepfather wants alot of the interior pieces(which btw the interior is 100% MINT!), and my mother doesnt want another car in the yard.. Anywho, he told me it only had 1st and second gear. Well, once doing about 65mph i threw it into OD, it slipped and then caught overdrive so the ride home wasnt that bad..

| Paul If the cel is on for the transmission, It could be just the 1-4 shift solenoid has failed. Just having a bad transmission will not set a cel. Something electronic, or a loss of fluid will set a cel. I would have it scanned for codes. On the other hand if you feel 1st and second, but then it starts winding up after that, then yes, your transmission is Fubar. |

Eh im pretty sure its not a solenoid, it does 1st and 2nd fine, then just does nothing but REV when looking for third. i drop it into "2" and it holds 2nd. I get it up to about 65, throw it back into OD, it revs, bangs, and catches od.. it was an interesting ride..

| Could be the 2-3 shift solenoid. I would look into it before calling it quits. I meant to say that earlier instead of the 1-4 solenoid. |

Where on the wag is said solenoid? It will be clipped into the valve body. The tranny pan gets dropped, disconnect harness to solenoid, pull clip holding solenoid to valve body, and remove. Just reverse procedure to put it back together. |
