| Now that I put my tranny in you guys can stop busting my balls about it when I say I want something!
SO, I have decided since I am pretty much running cutouts right now I should go get my exhaust done. I want to keep it simple and CHEAP. Stock cats, have my exhaust guy fab me up an H pipe, two intermediate pipes to some $20 mufflers and dumped right there. What do you guys think. Should I even opt for the H pipe? I would like 2.5" or should I go 2.25"? I plan on putting in the LT1 sometime when the weather gets nice so I want it to be ready for that. OH and Bill M, I remember you saying I need an LT1 cross member for dual exhaust, well I don't. The cats pipes go underneath the cross member and it has two humps in it, so I'm good there.

| Skip the crossover. Go 2.5" Go with cheap turbo mufflers (Summits = $15!) and turn downs (like 6 bucks each at Autozone, BTW). Make sure they are angled at like a 45* though, so it exits out towards the bottom of the rear tires. That way you won't run into drone issues. I have less drone at cruise in my impala with 3" dumps than I do in Morticia!!!
You should be able to have an exhaust place fab up 2.5" intermediate pipes and hang your mufflers for less than 100 bucks...

| OK so I called my exhaust guy and he want's $200 for 2 turbo muffs and 2 intermediate pipes. I would rather do this myself.
Here is the parts list I have decided I need if I were to do it myself.
2x intermediate pipes WLK-45687 and WLK-45688 2x donut gaskets local autozone 2x flanges WLK-31865 2x turbo mufflers SUM-630125 2x turn downs local autozone 4x exhaust clamps local autozone
Now I have an issue because I need to hang the mufflers. My neighbor has a welder I could ask him to weld some hangers in there for me I would just need to buy the rubber pieces.

| Sounds good, but you don't need the donut gaskets. Our systems don't use them.
And you can use the autozone universal hangers as a temporary solution to the "no-hanger" problem. But I'd get some exhaust shop ones put on at some point soon. As I've had a couple of the cheap ones break on me...

Hey at least it didn't happy in PA in a rainstorm at a jerk-hole truck stop and cause you to loose your caravan.

| I would go with 2.5 or 3 inch. It gives the car much more of a rumble. | |

I can't believe how HUGE the volume "jump" is from 2.5" to 3" exhaust. My Impala is VERY LOUD with Summit Turbos with the 3" exhaust. It sounds absolutely INSANE! As opposed to 2.5" Summit Turbos on my wagon that just sound like there's a V8 underhood.

| OK so I went with 2.5" to turbo muffs dumped at a 45 degree angle. It is really not as loud as I like it but it sounds decent. I will take pics/vids when I get batteries for my camera. | |

The turbo mufflers will get louder after a couple hundred miles as the fiberglass packs up.

| Well I've been driving around all night it sounds awesome! Car feels lighter on its feet too now with this exhaust and last night I did hockey puck/ sewer pipe. I'm getting more and more anxious for the LT1 swap. | |

| $200, best price I could find, no other shop would do it 'cause it's "illegal" or something like that. | |
