| Came across this site: http://www.killbillet.com/ Built for Under 3K section: http://www.killbillet.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4 Hmmm: http://www.killbillet.com/showthread.php?t=17075 If you see any really cheap 30s three window coupes please let me know. Can be rusty on on bottom, I'd only hack off the whole floor plus. Currently I like the coupes 'cause of the longer doors and side glass but really could be almost anything pre '49. In NH you can register pre-1948 cars with open wheels with Street Rod plates. I've got to get rid of some cars and then give something like this some serious consideration. And I don't care if I don't get invites to shows, if I do it the car will have IFS and a computer. | |

| Pretty cool. My buddy is doing a budget build of a 57 pickup, we had a local guy here weld on a '73 El Camino front clip for a "factory" IFS. Even with the clip it cost about $700 and the guy did a KILLER job. If you are ever up my way you should come check it out. =

| Ya those are so cool. My dad has a 31 pontiac, the body is MINT and has almost every original part for it. I wanted to build a 455 rat rod. But he said no way! lol
I have 3 77-78 trans am front clips and suspension i kept just for that reason. | |

| OK it's probably a bit more than 3K. It's a concept: http://goodiedesign.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d1kr14q

| By my guestimate that woman posing on the back wheel is a midget right about 3 feet tall. Maybe it's Vern Troyer in drag? | |

| There used to be a "kit" that replaced the front clip of a 2nd gen camaro/FB/TA to make the front open wheel... it was kind of cool, I actually had a brochure for it... I can't find anything online about it.... | |
