PostSubject: Got the Chicago job   Mon Jun 21, 2010 2:06 pm

I start July 12th as an Account Manager for CDW (www.cdw.com). New job is right in the heart of downtown Chicago.

I'll be leaving Boston probably in the first week of July to give myself a chance to move in & get adjusted.

Thanks for all the well wishes and support guys - it's been a long process.

It took a while to get sorted out but it seems like a great opportunity. And your already familiar with city driving so that should make things easier Very Happy

Good Luck Bill!

CDW is a good company, I have bought quite a few things over the years. My oldest daughter went to Marquette University in Milwaukee, which is less than 2 hours from Chicago. She spent quite a bit of time in Chicago as all her friends were from there. She really likes the city. I'm sure you will like it there.

Bill

You have an established sales list from your vacuum cleaner sales days. Hit them again, they'll buy some computer stuff.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

Not sure yet Crovo - I definately will have one though. Surely everyone will be invited.

Tom - it's an inside sales job. I'm working in the small-business division. It's not so much based on consumer sales unfortunately.

Just a little humor, I know Bill C. bought a vacuum cleaner from you.
