PostSubject: Hello to all   Tue Mar 03, 2009 2:56 pm

I am new to the forum. My name is Steve Pearson. I work for the Manchester Fire Department.

I own a 95 Impala SS. I have done some basic mods. Corvette Dress, LT4 knock sensor, Sewer intake.

My car stays parked based on the Red Sox Schedule. They play, I play. This philosophy has kept the car body rust free so far. It has 60k for mileage. I try to keep around 5k per year on it. I have been looking for some local guys for the occasional hot rod hang out.

I am interested in future performance mods.

Any ways, Hello to everyone.

Welcome aboard.

Check the club calender link to find out when the gatherings are as of now and try to catch one that fits your schedule. There should be more poping up all the time based on when people decide to do something fun.

Thank you for the warm reception.

To answer some of the questions.

I am the second owner. I bought the car with 33,668.8 miles on it from Betley Chevrolet in Derry NH back in 2003. They had a 96 in the show room with 12,000 miles on it and wanted original sticker price for it. It was like going back in time to 96. Perfect car. My car was 1/2 that price. No idea why. 33,000 seems like low milage to me.

The car now has 60,000 on it. It will back on the road in late April. The outside appearance is bone ass stock. So even if I had a good picture to post it would not be exciting.

By the way, I just got off the phone with BF Goodrich in South Carolina. They say there will be KDWS 255/50/ZR17's will be available in August. They have NOT stopped making the tire despite some rumors around the web to the contrary. I like them and I need 2. I have the original ZR4 tires on the rear axle!!!!! No bull shit. They are 14 years old and are starting to crack around the sidewalls. EVERYONE I know recommends getting rid of tires after 7 years. Probably good advice.

OH wait, an opportunity to roast up a set once the new ones come in......happy happy joy joy.
