| Hey Guys! Just so Steve doesn't think he's missing out on the "last minute, secret society event," I'm letting you ALL know that I am planning to swap the motor out on the SS tomorrow. Or at least get the old one out, anyways. Al will be coming over with his boys, and if the weather holds, you are all welcome to use the pool, too. (bring a suit and towel, just in case) (unless you are cute, then the suit is optional ) I do not plan on cooking, but if a few of you show up, I'll spring for some pizzas. Bring whatever you want to snack on, and if you want to drink anything other than Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Pepsi, or water, bring it. So there you have it. Come on up if you're bored. I should be in the garage around 9am, depending on when the Princess and the Queen wake up. (I promised momma she could sleep in a bit ) See some of you tomorrow! ~B | |

| I'm a little surprised to see this on the public forum and not on the super secret mailing list email, but that's cool.
I regret that I wont be able to make it, I have a buddy coming and we are trucking stumps to the local stump dump ALL DAY.

toomanyhorsepower for toomanymiles. ROFLMAO! Yeah, something like that. And Drew, no 572. Impala is being readied for sale. I hope to have the old engine in and Impala seats back in it by the end of next weekend and she goes up for sale. I'll be advertising it at $8500, but if any of you want it, it's 7 G's. If it doesn't sell, I hope to take it to Carlisle for the GM Nats and maybe sell it there. | |

| So the heads/cammed engine goes in Marshmallow? Hope you don't have to treck to Nats to get it sold unless you are going otherwise. If I was closer I woudl offer but I am on call this weekend. | |

| Crovo is just scared. He knows what I can do had I not stopped to ask for directions during our last 1320 meeting. So he needs more engine to keep up with my big honkin chrome exhaust tips. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJpbOCvheH8 |

| No problem, Timmah. Don't worry about it. I got a late start anyways and just took my time. I made it into the garage around 1030 and had to spend an hour or so straightening it up and making room for the swap. By the time Jim got there around noon, I had the radiator and one of the headers out and the tranny ready to drop. We slowly plugged at it and just as Al and his kids came by, we dropped the tranny and pulled the motor. All in all, it was a nice, easy 4 hours of work. Now I gotta swap the accessories over and find a set of stock fuel injectors and rail. I had 3 or 4 spare sets at one point, but must have given them all away or sold them or something. D'oh! I also need a stock driveshaft "catcher" too. I had a couple of those also, but must have finally tossed 'em... | |

| I have many stock injectors and a few stock fuel rails. And since that engine is now going into the wagon. Maybe you could call it something more sinister than the marshmallow. |

| Thanks for the help today, guys! Sorry I was so un-motivated! lol. But we did get the motor and tranny in though, so that was good! Maybe if I'd had some advanced notice, like a week or so, I coulda got the parts and gaskets I needed. D'oh! Oh well, I failed this week. Ha ha! Maybe I'll work on it a couple nights this week and get it back on the ground. Thanks again, Paul, Timmy, and Bobby. It was nice to see Leslie, too. KL and Bella had fun with her. Oh, and it was nice to meet the 3 Mikes, too! | |

| I'm not sure it took me an hour to get home some how. I was mostly obeying the speed limit. I usually don't go more than 5 over the limit. Unless EVERYONE is going around me. I was in my family mini van today too so I am more LOW KEY than in a big ol chevy sedan with RACING TIEYAZ. | |

| OH, and for the record: Bill Crovo's cat is HUGE. It is bigger than his dog that has a mohawk. I thought my cat was huge. | |
