I'm a pretty avid bass fisherman during the summer, my canoe is always on top of my Blazer unless it's in the water.

I was wondering if anyone else was too cuz I'm driving myself crazy. Spring is so close, I've started buying tackle for the upcoming season and been watching fishing shows (Charlie Moore is so annoying!!).

When I do get the chance to go fishing I spend more time putting worms on the hook and taking fish off and releasing them for my daughter. There are a bunch of lakes all over around Fort Bragg, all we have ever caught were some small Brim and Crappies. I am thinking about looking for a small boat so we can go out on the lakes and find some bigger fish. My daughter is now old enough to maintain her own hook so I might get a chance to do some fishing of my own.

That's a great way to spend time with your daughter. I love taking my nephew fishing.

I tried to teach my fiance how to fish last summer but it got too frustrating. She caught a Largemouth Bass that was about 8 oz. and she was so scared of it...ugh.
